Ever wondered how far you can lay a trail of coins?
Ever wondered how much money you could raise doing it?
Ever wondered if you could convince a whole office to get involved?
Weirdly, I did, and I made it happen. Here’s the story…
If you didn’t fancy watching the video…
Met Office staff got involved in a day-long challenge to try to create a ‘coin river’ trail of coins running from one end of the Exeter HQ building to the other.
Thanks to generous contributions and efforts from staff, the river spanned more than twice the length of the building and reached an awesome distance of 321.60 metres. A range of staff members also lent their time to volunteer to help with the event and the day raised £1069.
